It's finally time I started learning how to sculpt.

Ah, this is really good to see. If you keep it up, you can get lost for hours - it's so fun.

You probably are surrounded with people who can help you get better at it, but one thing that has helped me the most was doing everything in the low res as much as you can before subdividing. Keep smooth off when you sub too.

Why is it better to leave the smooth off when you subdivide?

I've always wanted to try zBrush--is it difficult to use if you've not had prior use of 3D modelling programs before?
